Mis-understanding of salvation’s triad [in the Son, Jesus Christ (justification: the deliverance from the penalty of sin, which is death) ; the Holy Spirit (sanctification: the deliverance from the power of sin in our lives, which comes from God at His pleasure and not of ourselves) ; and our Father (glorification: the deliverance from the presence of sin, when corruptible is made incorruptible and mortal is made immortal)] invites a perspective that obedience to the Lord and all His commandments is somehow legalistic and therefore heretical. Nothing could be further from the truth.
