2 Chronicles 7:14

Nonetheless, we are in the beginning of sorrows  that Jesus spoke about to his disciples in Matthew 24:3-8:

And as [Jesus] sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the age [the end of the Age of Grace] ?

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

All these are the beginning of sorrows.

To be comforted and encouraged in these difficult times, and to learn more about why we may not yet* be in the 7 year period

called the ‘Time of Jacobs Trouble‘ and  ‘Daniel’s 70th week,’

Jimmy Evans of Gateway Bible Church conducted an online sermon that some Christians have entitled,

“This Is Not The End.”

March 28, 2020 sermon

Sermon starts at minute 20:33

Note* Other dear bible teachers whom I have  strongly recommended on this website, such as Mrs. Brenda Weltner do in fact, believe  that we are already in first half of the 7 year period.  I have linked her excellent Book of Revelation series, which she clearly and scripturally lays out her arguments that the Revelation 12 Sign shown in the sun, moon, and stars to the entire world on September 23, 2017 marked the beginning of the 7 year period, which  we commonly know as the 7 year tribulation. Based on her exquisite timeline, she has also boldly proclaimed  a date of the rapture — September 28, 2020!  More specifically, we are glorified on the Feast of Trumpets and will be raptured 10 days later. Learn more about her timeline and rationale!

I think all Christians should be looking up, watching, waiting, occupying, and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ now more than ever before because the overwhelming consensus, regardless of predicted dates and timelines,  and based on scripture alone —  is that we are in the end times, primarily because Israel was restored as a nation in 1948,  after over 2000 years!! The land of Israel is God’s prophetic time marker and according to Jesus, the generation (a generation according to scripture is 70 years or by strength, 80 years, Psalm 90:10} who witnessed the return of Israel as a nation — the fig tree generation —  will see all things come to pass, before the end of the Age of Grace (Matthew 24:32-34).  We know that at the midpoint of the 7 year period, the antichrist will seat himself in God’s Holy temple and proclaim himself as god — this is called the Abomination of Desolation (Matthew 24:15). For this to happen, there must be a rebuilt temple. Therefore, we know that we are not at the midpoint of the 7 year period.

Matthew 24:32-34

32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

Psalm 90:10

The days of our lives are seventy years; And if by reason of strength they are eighty years, Yet their boast is only labor and sorrow; For it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

Matthew 24:15

15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)….
